For any musician at Berklee that isnt a jazz performer, this creates a very unfair situation, since a very large number of musicians at Berklee are not strictly jazz musicians, and to make matters worse, the ensemble department does not give any real advice or feedback to help you learn how to play or improve in the style of jazz.
